Role: Lead iOS Developer (Full-time)
Car:Go is Belgrade's leading Uber alternative serving ~50,000 monthly active users. As Lead iOS Developer starting July 2018, I spearheaded the complete overhaul of the application, initiating a major refactoring project in 2019 that transformed the app's architecture and scalability.

I rewrote the entire codebase in Swift, eliminated unnecessary third-party dependencies, and revamped the networking layer using URLSession exclusively with Codable for data models. Beyond technical leadership, I mentored junior developers, conducted thorough code reviews, and later led development of Car:Go Butler - an innovative food ordering feature from exclusive restaurants. This full-time role allowed me to build a robust, maintainable product that continues to serve Belgrade's transportation needs.
